Join us on this trip down memory lane and into the forests of Forks as we examine Twilight, the enormously loved and extremely reviled YA vampire series! Do we think it deserves all that hate? Did we like it better as adults? Team Edward or Team Jacob?? (Just kidding, we’re not answering that last one… yet.)

Notes: Missy’s not entirely satisfied with the section on how media can/cannot affect people. Studies show many of the models covered in the episode do not affect consumers as the models claim, but repeated exposure to an ideology can wear at you, even if you are relatively certain, as she is, that you cannot truly Clockwork Orange anybody into something. It’s a nuanced discussion, and we’re not satisfied that we covered all that nuance, so don’t take our word as gospel! (Please don’t ever take our word as gospel.)
